Cultural Center of Salvador

Centro Cultural Correios is located at Praça Anchieta, on the corner with rua Inácio Acioli, Pelourinho, Salvador Historical Center. The neighbor building is São Francisco church and its Third Order and São Francisco cross, forming a special and unique landscape.

Check  CCC/Salvador program.

The CCC building has three floors, with typical 17th century style, outstanding architectural value, declared national heritage by IPHAN (National Historic and Artistic Patrimony Institute).

Over time, the building suffered a series of architectural interventions which preserved its characteristics. During the 90s, a reform was carried out that has improved and modernized its power network and sanitary system infrastructure.

Centro Cultural Correios de Salvador/BA was inaugurated on April 12, 2000, and today is tied to DR/BA Social Communication Advice. CCC holds plastic arts exhibitions which add value and enrich Bahia and Brazil culture, in addition to lectures and workshops on different themes.
